Environmental Management System

The Environmental Management System is a management tool that allows organizations to organize themselves to sustainably improve their environmental performance.

INRAE, aware of its responsibilities towards the environment, is committed to implementing a corporate social responsibility strategy. This strategy is supported in particular by the EMS (Environmental Management System) approach. Through this approach, each experimental unit or facility commits to achieving exemplary environmental protection objectives.

At INRAE, this project is led by the CNUE (National Commission for Experimental Units). It is aligned with INRAE's Sustainable Development Plan (S3D) and continues the implementation of the Carbon Balance Sheet, with the primary objective of moving toward eco-responsible practices.

The St Martin de Hinx Corn Experimental Unit is in the process of obtaining ISO 140001 certification.
