It also acts as a service provider to the Study and Control Group for Varieties and Seeds (GEVES), the National Interprofessional Group for Seeds and Plants (SEMAE), and Agri Obtentions.

GEVES (Study and Control Group for Varieties and Seeds) is a public interest group, the only official body in France providing expertise on new plant varieties and seed quality analysis. It is comprised of INRAE, the Ministry of Agriculture, and Semae.

SEMAE (formerly GNIS: National Interprofessional Group for Seeds and Plants) is the interprofessional organization for the seed and plant sector in France. It provides a forum for dialogue, exchange, and decision-making, with the aim of defining collective actions of general interest, serving the sector's professional families and seed users. SEMAE also represents and promotes the sector in France and abroad. This group brings together professionals in the seed and plant sector: breeding companies, seed and plant production companies, seed-producing farmers, distributors, users, and processors.

Agri Obtentions, a subsidiary of INRAE, is an independent company whose mission is to create and promote varietal innovations. A market leader as an organic seed company, the company aims to anticipate future needs and direct research accordingly.
